CPUID was reading the RAM at 800 MHz, but in reality it is 800 MHz x 2, so the RAM in this laptop is actually 1600 MHz. Sweet! Thanks, Roy!EDIT 2: I'm currently playing Max Payne 3, and this machine handles it wonderfully. I'm running it in DX11, all settings on "Max" (pun intended ;-) ), with FSAA, HDAO, and 4x AA; at 1920 x 1080 I'm consistently hitting 30-40 FPS (V-Sync is off, because switching it on turns the frame rate into syrup-dipped glue). This is a huge relief since the original Recommended Specs from the publisher were ridiculously over the moon (hexacore processor, 3GB VRAM). After the backlash over those specs, Rockstar backed off and said those were the specs of the best system they tested it on, but...
